Introducing Our New Lowcountry Program Director
We’re pleased to announce the hire of Kerri Forrest as our new Lowcountry Program Director, to be based in our Charleston office. Kerri, who joined our staff in late February, comes to us from the American College of the Building Arts (ACBA) in Charleston, where she had been the Director of Institutional Advancement since 2011. Among other recent endeavors, she has consulted with the Speedwell Foundation and the South Carolina Arts Commission.
A native of Charleston, Kerri spent over 15 years in Washington, DC as a journalist and earned two Emmy Awards during that time. Since returning to her hometown, Kerri has been engaged in the community by teaching at the Art Institute of Charleston and the College of Charleston, and volunteering with the YWCA Greater Charleston, SCAC’s Leo Twigg Scholars, Charleston Carifest, TEDxCharleston, and Friends of the Lowcountry Lowline.
We’re excited to add Kerri to our strong program team serving the Lowcountry and Chicago regions. Read more about Kerri.
