Access Music Collaborative is dedicated to providing equitable access to the transformative power of music-making. From fostering creativity in students to supporting professional composers worldwide, the organization is committed to advancing new music at every level.
Through digital media programs like the podcast Relevant Tones and the PBS series Songs About Buildings and Moods—which aired over 1,000 times last year—Access Music Collaborative reaches tens of thousands of people, bringing contemporary classical music to a wide audience.
Their live events, including the popular Thirsty Ears Festival and the Sound of Silent Film Festival, attract thousands each year and make classical music fun and engaging. Many former students have gone on to become award-winning composers.
