Using the Online System

To begin a new application

Click the program area at left for which you're interested in applying, and follow the instructions for the proposal you're submitting. You'll be connected to our online system (grantrequest.com) to begin a new application.

If your organization has never applied to the foundation via the online system, you will be prompted to create a new account when you start a new application. If possible, you should use a general organizational email address (ex: info@gddf.org) rather than an individual's email address, since staff changes occur.

Once an online account is created for your organization, you can save and return to the application at your leisure, email drafts to others for review, and submit applications and reports. Login at anytime using the Grantee Login link found at the top of every page on this site.

If you (or your organization) have applied via the online system before, but don't know your login information, please contact the foundation's Grants Manager, Susan Clark.

To work on an in-progress application

If you've already started a new application, log into your online account. This Grantee Login link is at the top of every page on this website.

After submission

You will receive an instant confirmation email and a copy of your submitted proposal. If you do not receive this email, please check your junk mail. If it's not there, please call or email the foundation to ensure your application was submitted.

Questions? Please Contact Us!

If you encounter any issues while working on your application, contact our Grants Manager, Susan Clark at 312-977-2705 or sclark@gddf.org.
